Likely Democratic and Independent voters, especially those voters who have requested a vote by mail ballot, need to be reminded in any medium possible and as soon as possible that Democrat Gina Ortiz Jones is running against Republican Rolando Pablos, a Greg Abbott puppet, who will push Abbott’s extreme right wing Agenda. Voters need to hear this message in English and Spanish. Voters need to know that:

1. He’s bankrolled by Abbott and the MAGA mega-donors are raising costs, defunding our public schools for their voucher scam, and turning our local law enforcement into ICE agents.
2. He’ll sell out San Antonio to the corporate donors to his campaign, just like he let utility companies price-gouge San Antonio as Utility Commissioner. For example, he wants taxpayers to pay for 50% of the new Spurs arena. 
3. He is backed by Donald Trump and puts loyalty to Trump over what’s best for San Antonio. He refuses to push back against Trump’s tariffs driving up costs and threatening our local businesses, like Toyota. And he won’t stand up to Trump recklessly firing veterans and slashing funding for veteran benefits, Social Security, and public schools.

If voters can’t be informed on Pablo’s record, or if the negative message is completely burned in, voters should know that as the former Undersecretary of the Air Force and most experienced leader in this race, Gina knows there no time to waste when it comes to: 

1. Bringing down costs
2. Keeping taxes low [by increasing transparency and cutting waste]
3. Making smart investments in our future, and finishing projects on time
4. Protecting community safety — as an Iraq War veteran and top national security leader, she’s focused on public safety and supported law enforcement her entire career.

Any TV advertisements should go on air as soon as possible and should first and foremost define Republican Rolando Pablos as a puppet for Greg Abbott.
